Patricia Claus (nee Foley), 69, of Brookfield, died on Aug. 2, 2019. 

Born on Sept. 15, 1949, she retired as captain from the Cook County Sheriff's Department after 20 years of employment. 

Ms. Claus was the mother of Shaun (James) Faber; the sister of John (Michael Dwyer) Foley, James Foley, Sean (Janet) Foley, Phillip (Andre) Foley III and the late Pete (Joan) Foley; the aunt of many nieces and nephews; and the ex-wife of the late Clarence O. Claus. 

Visitation was on Aug. 6 from 3 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, Aug.7 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 11 a.m. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, 9445 31st St. in Brookfield. Interment is at St. Mary Cemetery.
