Thanks for the great Riverside parade

Opinion: Letters to the editor

July 7th, 2020 12:25 PM

The Riverside Friends of the Fourth would like to thank the village of Riverside, the fire and police departments, public works and the recreation department for their participation in Riverside's July 4 parade on their own time.

It was a chance for residents to say thank you to the first responders and other entities within Riverside. These are the people who help our quality of life and guard our safety on a daily basis.

It was only fitting that this year, 2020, our parade was held to honor these groups. They have proved their dedication to their chosen professions and to the people they are charged to serve. Thank you again.

Joe Ballerine, Andy Daun, Danny Jisa, JoAnne Kosey, Rey Navarro and Ben Sells
