On Sept. 8 more than 90 people hopped on their bicycles and rode to taverns throughout Brookfield and LaGrange to raise funds for lung cancer research during the 4th Annual Bike R Bars event organized by LaGrange resident Tom Moore, Brookfield resident Roger Baran, and LaGrange Park residents Anthony Senese, Amy Senese and Kathy Savino.

After kicking off at a home in LaGrange Park, the group rode off to Off Broadway Pub, Barrel House Social, Joe's Saloon, Ryan's Public House and Phil's Sports Bar and Grill.

The event raised more than $6,000, which was donated to Lungevity Chicago. Anyone wishing to make a donation should visit www.lungevity.org.
